Andy Tilden will leave Skills for Care early in 2021 to take on new challenges after 20 years supporting learning and development opportunities for the adult social care workforce in England.

Andy is currently Skills for Care’s Director of Operations, returning to that post after a year as the organisation’s Interim CEO before handing over to Oonagh Smyth in March.

Oonagh says,

I'm lucky to have had Andy’s experience and counsel as I began my role as CEO but I appreciate that he feels that now is the right time to take a step back and pursue other opportunities. We're obviously sad that he's leaving, but he'll remain a valued member of the team until early 2021 so there is a smooth transition into a new strategy year. All of us at Skills for Care owe Andy a debt for his leadership as our Interim CEO, and he has made a huge contribution over the last two decades supporting employers to offer high quality learning and development to their workers.
