Nursing

Discover the essential role of nursing in adult social care. See insights into the vital role nurses play in providing care to the sector and the need to offer employers appropriate support.

We’re the leading source of workforce intelligence for adult social care in England and our work includes providing statistics and reports about the contribution of nurses to the sector. This can help employers and strategic bodies make informed decisions about the nursing workforce.

We also provide a range of resources from guidance, webinars, and networking groups to support employers and nurses as well as newsletters to keep up to date with news and events from the sector.

Nurse leadership programme for internationally educated registered nurses

This new programme is designed to enhance the leadership skills of internationally educated nurses so they can be a confident and effective leader whilst working in social care in England.

It features live online workshops, reflection sessions and self-guided learning. We’ll provide tools and techniques to better lead themselves and others, to understand their boundaries and the role of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). We’ll explore what social care is and how social care and health work together. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet other internationally educated nurses.
