Residents at The Lawn, a residential care home in Alton run by the charity Friends of the Elderly, celebrated this year's National Book Lovers Day by sharing their cherished memories of books and reading.
Friends of the Elderly has been supporting older people for over 100 years. At their Alton residential care home, The Lawn, they’ve been celebrating National Book Lovers’ Day, which happens every August, by sharing some of their fondest book-related memories.
