This training is for ASYE co-ordinators who have started the role within the last 12 months to understand more about the ASYE programme, how it works and what your role is.

This is a fantastic opportunity for new ASYE co-ordinators working in either adults or child and family services. The training will also use a peer support approach for problem-solving issues experienced in your role.

 

Learning outcomes

  • better understand the ASYE programme
  • better understand your role and responsibilities
  • how to support NQSWs and assessors where the NQSW is not progressing as expected to the ASYE standard
  • better understand the ASYE assessment and the role of evidence in the assessment process, including in the internal moderation panel
  • how to quality assure your programme and develop your action plan for continuous development
  • learn what sources of support there are for ASYE co-ordinators.

 

Who should attend?

New ASYE co-ordinators from adults services or child and family services who have been in role less than 12 months.

 

Delivery and dates

There are eight places for those working in adults services and eight places for those working in child and family services. The training will be delivered via Zoom, via six half day sessions. To make the most of the training you'll be asked to undertake some preparation work ahead of each session.
