Overview
The adult social care workforce require access to high quality learning, development, training and qualifications. We're inviting learning providers operating in the North West to join us as we share the latest updates relating to learning and development in the adult social care sector, supporting learning providers to prepare the workforce of the future.
Who should attend?
Learning providers, tutors, trainers and assessors who provide training, learning and development, qualifications or apprenticeships for adult social care learners in the North West.
Learning outcomes
At this event delegates will:
- learn more about the new Level 2 Adult Care Certificate qualification
- find out how to care providers can become eligible to claim the Adult Social Care Learning and Development Support Scheme funding (LDSS)
- understand the recommendations in the Care Workforce Pathway for learning and development for each of the published role categories (phase 1)
- discover what the Quality Assured Care Learning Service is and how to apply.
We will also discover how these learning and development initiatives are intrinsic to the Workforce Strategy for Adult Social Care in England.
