Learning providers

How much employers can claim back from the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) will depend on the learning completed.

All employers claim the WDF directly from Skills for Care on completion of the learning. Learning providers cannot do this on an employer’s behalf.

To be funded qualifications and apprenticeships must have started on or before 31 March 2024 and must complete by 31 March 2025.

As the WDF has been scaled down for 2024-25 and is only available for learning which is already in progress, we do not expect to add any new qualifications to the list this year.
