This free one-day facilitated workshop is exclusively for registered manager members of Skills for Care.
Overview
Being trained as a mentor gives you the opportunity to mentor others, whilst learning new skills, developing greater self-awareness and reflecting on your practice.
This workshop is intended to provide you with a better understanding of the structure of the mentoring process and of the intellectual design behind mentoring.
The workshop will include:
- What mentoring is and the benefits of mentoring
- Mentoring core skills
- The mentoring relationship
- Tools for the mentoring conversation
- Action planning and reflection
Who should attend?
This free one-day facilitated workshop is for registered manager members of Skills for Care, specifically for those currently in post as registered managers.
Only active registered manager members should register. During registration you will be asked for your membership number which will be on the certificate you received as a new member or on your membership homepage.
