Overview

Are you looking to:

  • significantly improve staff retention

  • enhance workforce well-being

  • recruit individuals who stay and grow with your organisation?

The Recruit to retain programme is designed specifically for CQC-regulated adult social care services, offering practical, values-based strategies to strengthen recruitment, support staff development, and reduce turnover.

The CQC's focus on Safe and Effective Staffing is deeply connected to how well an organisation recruits, inducts, and supports its staff, all of which must be grounded in the organisation's core values.

This three-day interactive workshop provides practical tools and hands-on experiences to seamlessly integrate these principles into your daily operations. With a focus on real-world application, you'll gain immediately actionable strategies to create a values-driven, supportive workplace that attracts and retains staff.

This will ultimately save your organisation significant future recruitment costs, add value to the day-to-day care you deliver by a trusted care team, and provide robust evidence to the CQC about your Well-led and Safe practice.

Programme structure

Day 1: Define – Shaping Your Core Culture

Focus: Defining core values, behaviours, and organisational culture.
You'll not only identify your organisation's values but also actively define and align them with the desired behaviours of your workforce, effectively communicating them to both existing staff and potential recruits to foster a values-driven culture.

Day 2: Establish – Embedding Values into Daily Operations

Focus: Embedding values into staff development, supervision, and one-to-one interactions.

You'll delve into integrating defined values into daily workplace practice, with practical tools to provide value-aligned inductions, supervisions, and one-on-one meetings, and introducing proven feedback and development models to foster a values-driven culture that enhances engagement and retention.

Day 3: Recruit – Building a Value-Driven Recruitment Process

Focus: Recruitment strategies aligned with your values and behaviours.

You'll focus on enhancing your recruitment process to ensure it consistently attracts individuals who align with your organisation’s values and culture. You’ll learn to refine interview techniques, structure assessments, and implement recruitment practices directly tied to your core values.
